Über das Werk
Some paintings take time to reveal what they want to become. The Beginning was reworked more than once before I found the element that finally brought it together.
At its center lies a luminous space from which the geometry of Venus seems to emerge — and within which it remains. Layers of silver, copper, and turquoise create a sense of movement and expansion, while the darker outer edges hold that energy, like the vastness of the universe surrounding… it.
For me, the painting speaks of beginnings not as a single moment, but as something continually unfolding. The interplay between light and darkness, space and movement, gives the work both its intensity and its sense of belonging to a greater whole.

My artistic journey has always moved between painting, design, and craftsmanship. After studying fashion design and running my own couture atelier, painting gradually became the center of my creative practice.
Today, I work with layered surfaces, pigments, gold, and oxidizing metals such as copper and iron. Fascinated by their unpredictable transformations, I allow intuition and the materials themselves to guide my process.
Inspired by nature, light, and the geometry of celestial movements, I seek to give form to something that cannot always be expressed in words.
I know that life has its shadows. My hope is to create paintings that invite light, beauty, and inner strength into people's lives — works that continue to reveal themselves over time.
