Über das Werk
With the art piece “Summertime”, the painter conveys summery greetings from the flora. For the artist, the main inspiration for all floral paintings is always a walk through nature with the camera and sometimes with a very close look of nature. The painting shows a composition of color, form, lightness, transparency and mobility. Individual flowers, bushes and leaves are painted slightly abstract and in a reduced selection of light colors.
The painter… plays always with color, shape and motif on the canvas. The picture, which is mostly painted with various flat brushes, is created by applying numerous glazes, layers and overpainting. The painting “Summertime” led us in an almost imaginary landscape and a reduced color world.
