"Liminal Threshold" is a conceptual mixed-media sculpture that explores the raw act of breaking boundaries and existential transition. Caught within a liminal space, the hand-sculpted human figure manifests a profound inner struggle and transformation. The rectangular steel frame functions not merely as an enclosure, but as a rigid system of architectural lines representing systemic or psychological limitations. The artwork captures… the exact moment the subject breaks through the perimeter to claim autonomy and freedom.
The composition relies on a radical dialogue between the geometric and the organic. The clean lines of the matte black frame serve as a stark counterpoint to the expressive, heavily textured surface of the body.
