Rolling dunes, rocky canyons and distant mountains stretch beneath wide skies, shifting from pale sandy tones to deep orange and red at sunset. Footprints cross otherwise untouched sand, while camels and travelers bring a sense of movement and journey through the vast landscape. Some scenes feel peaceful and familiar, others almost dreamlike or otherworldly, showing the desert as a place of solitude, beauty and mystery.
