Anastasia Borodina est une peintre figurative contemporaine installée au Royaume-Uni, reconnue pour ses compositions à la structure iconographique qui explorent la profondeur psychologique, le symbolisme culturel et la frontière ténue entre monde intérieur et extérieur. Ses peintures interrogent la transformation des symboles européens traditionnels au sein de la société contemporaine, en s'intéressant à la quête humaine de sens, d'identité et d'ancrage émotionnel. L'enfance occupe une place centrale dans son œuvre, en tant que période formatrice où se façonnent les schémas de l'identité et de la perception de soi.
Borodina a suivi sa formation académique à l'Académie des Beaux-Arts Ilya Repin de Saint-Pétersbourg (2012-2019), dans l'atelier de Yuri Kalyuta, et expose depuis à l'international, notamment à la prestigieuse Exposition d'été de la Royal Academy (2023) et à l'Exposition du Prix d'art d'Almenara (2025). En 2025, Anastasia Borodina a reçu un certificat d'excellence de la Portrait Society of America.
