This contemporary reinterpretation of Peter Pan places the eternal child in the rigid world of the Japanese salaryman. Dressed for office life, he becomes the exact opposite of the character who famously refuses to grow up. Through stencil work, graphic contrasts and layered urban textures, the piece creates a visual tension between freedom and responsibility, imagination… and routine.
Part of the Legends collection, the artwork plays with Peter Pan’s refusal of adulthood by confronting him with one of its most codified symbols: corporate life. The piece questions what growing up really means, and how much of our childhood freedom we leave behind in the process.
