Alice Gavin Atashkar è una pittrice autodidatta di Manchester, ora residente nel nord di Londra. I suoi dipinti espressivi e gestuali fondono astrazione, rappresentazione e immaginazione, caratterizzati da strati di base giocosi e spontanei e da superfici lussureggianti e strutturate, ispirate al mutare delle stagioni e al mondo naturale. Attraverso i suoi colori vivaci e gioiosi, trasmette rigenerazione, speranza e un senso consapevole ed energizzante di pace e meraviglia. Negli ultimi 8 anni è stata seguita da Paul Regan, VPRWS. Attualmente è membro del collettivo artistico londinese Art Can e ha esposto regolarmente le sue opere alle fiere d'arte di Londra e ha partecipato a mostre personali e collettive. Gavin-Atashkar ha conseguito un Master in Arte-Psicoterapia presso l'Università dell'Hertfordshire ed esercita come arte-psicoterapeuta.
