Clayton Merrell è un artista americano pluripremiato le cui opere sono state ampiamente esposte a livello nazionale, oltre che a Cipro e a Cuba. I paesaggi del pittore, disegnatore e incisore presentano agli spettatori immagini in cui l'armonia è complicata dal conflitto e l'ordine è minacciato dal caos. All'interno delle confortevoli immagini della terra e del cielo, Merrell introduce rotture spaziali e visive per creare instabilità.
