L'artista Katharina Forster è nata a Ruhrgebiet nel 1979. Ha continuato i suoi studi presso la Ruth Prowse Art School di Città del Capo, in Sudafrica, nel 2010, dove ha vissuto e lavorato per diversi anni. Nel 2013, è tornata a Werder vicino a Berlino, dove ha partecipato a numerose mostre e organizzato eventi di arte pubblica.
