Ispirato a temi riguardanti identità, movimento e appartenenza, Tihov lavora con serigrafia, pigmenti e metalli preziosi. A volte descritto come un artista di cartografia pop art, Tihov crea mappe contemporanee, spesso realizzate con copertine per passaporti.
