“POPNOGRAPHY” presents a series of nine paintings, each measuring one meter by one meter,

society. Drawing inspiration from pornographic imagery of the 1990s, the artist revisits a visual
language that was once distributed through magazines and early video formats—an era when
erotic imagery still existed within relatively limited channels of circulation.…

has shaped collective perceptions of sexuality.

Mr. Popcorn is an anonymous contemporary artist based in Paris, whose work bridges street culture—emerging from tagging, posters, and paste-ups—and the institutional art world. His practice explores identity, impermanence, and material culture through an ironic visual language.
His works have been featured in international publications, major paste-up festivals (like BCN Up Fest and the London International Paste Up Festival), art auctions in Ibiza and at the prestigious Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach (April 2026), and public exhibitions along the Champs-Élysées in Paris. His pieces are also in the collection of the Pinacoteca di Arte Contemporanea di Teora.
Internationally exhibited across Europe, the US, and Japan (including ZK Gallery, Bugno Gallery, and a solo show at Avantgarden Gallery in Milan), he most recenty presented his solo exhibition "Symbols" at Galactic Panther Gallery in 2024. Maintaining strict anonymity, his mystique continues to deepen his fascination.
