몰타에서 태어나고 거주하는 저는 지중해의 바다와 빛이라는 분위기에 늘 이끌려 예술 활동을 해왔습니다. 유엔과 EU의 국제 심사위원으로 활동하는 동안에도 회화는 변함없이 제 삶의 터전이었으며, 프랑스와 이탈리아의 거장 화가들과의 꾸준한 연구를 통해 회화에 대한 열정을 더욱 강화했습니다.
제 작품은 반추상과 추상 사이를 넘나듭니다. 수직적인 요소들은 종종 인간의 열망을 암시하고, 수평적인 통로는 고요함과 연속성을 불러일으킵니다. 이러한 상호작용은 우리가 매일 추구하는 생각과 감정 사이의 균형을 회복시켜 줍니다. 속도감을 중시하는 문화 속에서 예술은 진귀한 무언가를 선사합니다. 바로 속도를 늦추고, 급박함 없이 바라보고, 느낄 수 있는 초대입니다.
