리카 마야 듀벨은 노르웨이 스타방에르 출신으로 현재 네덜란드 암스테르담에 거주하는 화가이자 혼합 매체 작가입니다. 그녀의 작품은 일상 경험에서 영감을 받아 내성적인 시각으로 순간을 포착합니다. 특히 여성으로서의 경험과 '내성적인 예술가', 즉 보이지 않는 영혼이라는 개념에 대한 심도 있는 탐구에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 수상 경력이 있는 작가이자 휘튼 칼리지, SACI, 레슬리 대학교를 졸업한 그녀는 암스테르담, 로마, 베니스, 볼로냐, 나폴리, 피렌체, 밀라노, 바르셀로나, 그라나다, 파리, 서울, 도쿄, 부에노스아이레스 등지에서 전시를 개최했습니다. 또한 바르셀로나, 스페인 그라나다, 프랑스 아르데슈, 아르헨티나 부에노스아이레스, 네덜란드 암스테르담에서 레지던시 프로그램에 참여했습니다. 암스테르담 대학교 경영대학원(UVA) 객원 강사이며, 피렌체 컨템포러리 갤러리에서 선정한 "2023년 주목해야 할 아티스트 50인"과 "2025년 발견해야 할 아티스트 50인"에 이름을 올렸고, 뉴욕 위클리 매거진에서 선정한 "2025년 주목해야 할 가장 영향력 있는 여성 기업가 30인" 중 한 명으로 선정되었습니다.
