Alexander Demidov ist ein belarussischer Künstler, der im figurativen und allegorischen Genre arbeitet. Inspiriert von der russischen Kunst des späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts schafft Demidov ein auffallend ganzheitliches und malerisches Universum voller Metaphern und Allegorien. Seine Ölgemälde ähneln einer Theaterproduktion, in der ironische und sentimental stilisierte Bilder auf der Leinwand und ewigen Themen wie z als Liebe werden Tod und Freundschaft erforscht.
