Charley Brindley begann seine künstlerische Karriere vor zwanzig Jahren, als er Illustrationen für seine 26 Romane zeichnete. Diese ersten Bilder waren primitive Schwarz-Weiß-Zeichnungen ohne Tiefe oder Dramatik, trugen aber dazu bei, die Buchverkäufe anzukurbeln.

Im Laufe der Jahre verbesserte er seine Kunst, da er lernte, mithilfe von Apps Farbe und eine bessere Definition zu erzielen. Vor vier Jahren begann er, digitale Kunst zu schaffen. Dies war ein langsamer Prozess, da die Lernkurve steil war, wie bei jeder Aufgabe, bei der mehrere Elemente zu meistern sind.

Mittlerweile hat er Hunderte von digitalen Buchillustrationen fertiggestellt und seine Kunst hat ein professionelles Niveau erreicht.
