« Unbeeindruckter Horizont. »

Dmytro Kurovskiy ist ein ukrainischer Künstler, dessen Gemälde sowohl auf nationaler Ebene als auch in Deutschland weit verbreitet sind. Er beschreibt das zentrale Motiv in seinen Werken als ein psychedelisches Umdenken von Bildern der Populärkultur, von Haushaltsgegenständen bis zu Schlüsselfiguren in Musik und Kino. Kurovskiy Kompositionen sind sowohl eine Art Ausdruck der Ideologie des Untergrunds als auch eine Übersetzung einer "schmerzhaften und dramatischen Moderne". All dies vermittelt Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft.
