Gustavo Fernandes ist ein portugiesischer Maler, dessen Werke auf nationaler Ebene sowie in Deutschland, Belgien, Südafrika, Großbritannien und Frankreich ausgiebig ausgestellt wurden. Über seinen künstlerischen Prozess sagt er, dass er "immer wächst und sich ohne bestimmtes Ziel weiterentwickelt". Fernandes 'hyperrealistische Arbeiten porträtieren Natur und Menschen, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf Frauen, und geben bestimmten Momenten Leben, die alle aus seiner Fantasie geboren wurden.
