Olga Akimtseva ist eine botanische Künstlerin, die ursprünglich aus Moskau stammt und heute in Serbien lebt. Nach einer erfolgreichen 25-jährigen Karriere im Finanzwesen widmete sie sich 2021 voll und ganz der botanischen Malerei. Sie schloss ihr Studium der Society of Botanical Artists (UK) mit Auszeichnung ab und ist Mitglied der SBA (UK), ASBA (USA) und SABA (Russland). Olga arbeitet mit mehrschichtiger Aquarellmalerei und konzentriert sich dabei auf Blumen und ihre natürliche Transformation. Ihr Ziel ist es, die vergängliche Schönheit der Pflanzen mit wissenschaftlicher Genauigkeit und emotionaler Tiefe einzufangen. Ihre Werke wurden international ausgestellt, unter anderem in Großbritannien, Thailand, Taiwan, Serbien und Russland. 2024 erhielt sie auf der SBA Plantae-Ausstellung den Preis „Exhibiting Excellence in Watercolor“. Ihre Arbeiten werden auch auf der SBA Plantae 2025 in den Mall Galleries in London gezeigt.
