The wall, it's going up.
A dark embrace holds us like an old friend.
Searching, our gaze wanders upwards,
And here, visible for all, we find the answer to the question,
that we never dared to ask.
The darkness fades, the wall lightens.
Color strong as the wind lifts us from the ground.
Our colorful escape allows us to look forward to a colorful future.
Expressing art with markers and spray cans is not just a stylistic device that is used. Rather,… it captures the zeitgeist of a generation that had to struggle through the harshness of life. What began back then continues to develop, takes on different forms and, at its core, always speaks of the same thing. A rebellion against the fake, a fight against the norm. An outcry and an acquaintance. We are still here. And we fight for our right to be seen. And we take everyone on the adventurous journey of life, on which one realizes that the real adventure lies outside of one's own comfort zone.
