Über das Werk
African cape buffalo with cow horns and warthog tusks mounted on a wooden plate coated in leather 33.000 Swarovski crystals in diamond colors set by hand. The artist created various creature sculptures by combining elements of different formerly living animals and thereby creating a fascinating world of new mystic, distinct creatures.
They document the beauty and connection with nature and are a symbol of evolution. Each sculpture tells its own… story. Therefore the artwork exudes a natural persuasive force and charisma - a unique personality. The mystical creatures form entirely new species that have never existed but could nevertheless live in a phantasy world or in earlier times. The sculptures are recreations of animal trophies that could exist in other worlds. The use of high-quality Swarovski Elements is the recurring theme in all my artwork. By using natural materials, the artist produces an all-encompassing new whole existence. The intricate craftsmanship speaks for itself.
