Essence is not what immediately meets the eye. In the shapes carved from oak roots and birch burl there is no direct image, only the echo of the unseen. Something primal and elusive comes alive here — as if the soul of the night forest awakens in a surreal dance of roots, a hidden and majestic beauty wandering among shadows. It is an ephemeral being born of silence and twilight, where fear intertwines with wonder. Within it pulse the grasses, the… whispers of ancient trees, the rustle of unease that gives birth to inner wisdom. Light sliding across its curves reveals a secret harmony — a force that quietly governs us.
This work is a bridge between matter and spirit, between the wilderness and the human heart, an invitation to look into one’s own essence through the bacchanal of roots. It is not an image, but a trace of essence, speaking in the language of wood and silence.
