I created this unique sculpture-lamp from a century-old spiral aspen that spent over a century in water but retained its life and natural dynamics. Water completely washed out the core, leaving a magnificent cavity. I carefully preserved this story by treating the exterior and interior surfaces with high-quality resins. Every detail is perfected: the ideal sanding emphasizes the wood’s texture, and the detachable construction allows easy transport… of the object. The sculpture features adjustable internal lighting, transforming it into a functional art object for interiors or open spaces. Stability is provided by a base made of Siberian pine with a composite addition of epoxy resins. I challenge other masters: show me another work where nature preserved a living history within such a magnificent hollow spiral, perfected by human craftsmanship.
