Über das Werk
Personalized Accent" "W" Wall Sculpture
This dimensional wall piece is a harmonious marriage of traditional woodworking and the vibrant energy of modern abstract art.
Every single element is 100% handcrafted. The focal point features a volumetric bowl carved from beech burl, with the letter W elegantly floating inside, sculpted from birch burl. The rich, intricate grain of the rare wood is brought to life through flawless, multi-stage sanding, leaving… the surface incredibly smooth and satisfying to the touch.
The organic wooden forms contrast beautifully with the background, created using the fluid art technique. The vivid, fiery acrylic pour adds a powerful sense of motion, making the bowl appear as if it is emerging from flows of liquid gold or lava.
This sculpture makes a sophisticated, deeply personal gift for anyone whose name or family initial starts with the letter W. Custom orders are welcome: I will gladly craft any other initials to create a one-of-a-kind
