"Revisit #1" is the first piece of the "Revisited" series.
The "Revisited Series" starts its investigation of former works by using the binary colors black and white
for the first painting and increasing its colour palette by subsequently adding one more colour for every following piece.
The "Revisited Series" concludes the set of works in this size format and on the medium
paper. It seeks out forms and relationships of the previous series and… examines their
dynamics and rhythms by using a modified color concept.

Simone Florells Gemälde erforschen die Bedürfnisse unseres steinzeitlichen Gehirns und unsere ursprünglichen Impulse. Die deutsche Künstlerin untersucht auch soziale Strukturen, die Fragilität und Dynamik menschlicher Beziehungen, Anthropologie, Psychologie und persönliche Entwicklung sowie Kultur und Angst. Florell kreiert mit Acryl auf dickem Papier. Die farbigen Bereiche werden mit Pinsel und Schwamm aufgetragen, andere bestehen aus Glasurschichten.
