This painting is part 2 of a very small series of two paintings. Both artworks harmonize very well together and the painting prozess started with various black colour fields. The effect was superimposed with other colors. The stronger and brighter colors are toned down and the softer colors are brightened.
For the painter, the interplay of surface and line is a central element of the compositions in her pictures. The juxtaposition of order and controlled… chaos always begins with a translucent colored background. A picture is created by applying many layers of paint. The painter only uses high-quality artist's colors with high pigmentation; the luminosity of these colors is a prerequisite for an expressive color effect. In this picture the painter composes with colors, contrasts, lines and natural-like shapes. The light-dark contrasts create tension and translucent and opaque color applications give the image depth.
