The picture Potpourrie is a composition of various nature-like and abstract components. A new, more or less contrasting, harmonious natural painting on a light background has been created on the canvas. Organic, floral and abstract shapes appear in great variety in this acrylic painting. Many picturesque greetings from floral spaces are conveyed in a very contrasting manner.
For the artist, the main inspiration for all nature paintings is always… a walk through nature with the camera and sometimes a very close look at nature. The painting shows a composition of color, form, lightness, transparency and mobility. Individual elements are painted abstractly, sometimes in bright colors, which stand out on the large canvas with the lighter background.
