Alua Tebenova est une artiste kazakhe basée en Roumanie dont les peintures ont été exposées dans les deux pays. A travers ses œuvres, elle s'attache à conjuguer certains aspects philosophiques avec la symbolique attribuée à l'ethnogenèse des peuples nomades d'Asie centrale. L'expression artistique de Tebenova est diversifiée, elle alterne entre réalisme classique et expressionnisme abstrait, fusionnant le traditionnel avec le moderne.
