Luben Boykov, un dessinateur et sculpteur primé basé en Italie, a exposé ses œuvres à l'échelle nationale, ainsi qu'au Canada, aux États-Unis, en Bulgarie et en Allemagne. Il voit son travail comme un petit maillon de la longue tradition de fabrication d'objets sculpturaux, «une pratique qui utilise le langage de la plasticité dans la création de formes, capable de stocker et de rayonner de l'énergie spirituelle». Les sculptures de Boykov sont influencées par les formes organiques qui l'entourent dans sa vie rurale quotidienne.
