Olaf Kühnemann est un artiste allemand passionné dont les œuvres ont figuré dans des expositions, des publications et des prix en Allemagne, au Royaume-Uni et aux États-Unis. Son intérêt principal est d'explorer ce que signifie faire une peinture aujourd'hui: comment équilibrer l'histoire de l'art, les pratiques contemporaines et la culture visuelle actuelle débordante pour trouver un chemin distinctif parmi tout cela. Avec pour thème principal Autobiography, il compose des peintures polyvalentes qui passent de scènes grand format au talent illustratif à des portraits en sourdine marqués par des couleurs et des contrastes spatiaux.
