Alexandra Piras is a French self-taught artist of Italian origins working with mixed media and integrated LED lighting in her "Line of Love" series.
Influenced by Lucio Fontana and James Turrell, she creates "living wounds" – luminous fissures that pulse within the painting. Each crack is not destruction but revelation, a bridge between the corporeal and transcendental.
Her background in psychology informs her artistic practice, channeling research into human behavior and emotions into visual form. She explores the strongest emotions through abstract expressionism, representing space through sensations and instinctive ideas.
