Stefan Szczesny est un peintre et sculpteur allemand basé en France qui a été exposé dans les deux pays, ainsi qu'en Espagne, aux États-Unis et en Suisse. Ses œuvres figuratives vibrantes sont inspirées des environnements caribéens et tropicaux. Pour Szczesny, ils incarnent la continuité à la fois de l'esprit méditerranéen et du «mode de vie». Il décrit son art comme «opulent, sensuel, coloré et radieux» et peint à l'acrylique sur du lin ou de la toile.
