Valeriya Tarasenko est une artiste émergente de l'Ukraine. À l'aide de peintures à l'huile, ses œuvres d'art contemporaines, semi-abstraites, jouent avec la perspective. Tarasenko explore les thèmes de la transcendance et de l'abandon, en particulier dans les espaces urbains, décrivant souvent des équipements magnifiques mais désaffectés ou des éléments architecturaux décoratifs. Son œuvre est un collage ou une couleur et une contradiction, qui surprend tout en engageant son public dans un seul coup.
