Vincent Messelier est un peintre, photographe et graveur basé en Belgique dont les œuvres ont été exposées en Espagne, au Brésil, aux États-Unis, en Italie et en France. Ses compositions distinctives sont inspirées de la musique, des légendes, de l'univers, de la spiritualité, des voyages, de la nature et des animaux. À l'aide de couteaux à palette, Messelier a développé son propre style, qu'il appelle « méridienisme », en raison des lignes et des rayures horizontales et verticales de ses pièces qui symbolisent les méridiens du monde.
