I am an Italian contemporary painter. Born in Southern Italy, I spent years moving through structures that did not represent me — economics degree, corporate work, even politics. Always searching for myself, and for freedom. At forty, painting emerged as a necessity, the place where the search for myself became a pictorial one. My language is the pixel pittorico — fragments of colour applied with a palette knife, breaking down and recomposing images. Up close, the works appear abstract. Stepping back, figures, faces, and urban landscapes reveal themselves — unfolding connections and possibilities. Exhibited nationally and internationally, my works are held in private collections in Europe and the United States, and include a cover of musician Alphonso Johnson's album.
