Iron Parchment operates as a tactile manuscript of time and corrosion. The artwork subverts the rigidity of
industrial metal, treating a large sheet of iron like a fragile, organic fragment of parchment that folds and
peels away at the top edge, exposing the depth behind it. The prevailing ivory-white, textured surface is
framed by heavy, natural oxidation and rust patterns, which bleed into the perimeter. At its core, a dense,
vertical constellation… of rhythmic incisions and dark, scar-like lacerations creates a profound focal tension.
