Agnes Boes, een Belgische kunstenares gevestigd in Ierland, creëert schilderijen, poëzie, fotografie en weeftechnieken, voortbouwend op een rijke autodidactische achtergrond met formele opleidingen in Brussel en Cork. Haar stijl verweeft symboliek en surrealisme in diep persoonlijke maar universele verhalen, gebruikmakend van een contemplatief proces dat intuïtie en zorgvuldige observatie combineert.
