Ahlam Amrani is een autodidactische abstracte schilder uit Leiden, klassiek geschoold in olieverftechnieken en werkend met zowel olieverf als acryl. Haar Marokkaanse roots vormen haar unieke visie. Ze combineert kubistische structuren met de decoratieve ritmes van art deco, waarbij ze geometrische en organische vormen, gelaagde transparante kleuren en dynamische penseelvoering combineert. Haar gedurfde maar poëtische kunstwerken stralen warmte, zelfvertrouwen en hoop uit en nodigen vrouwen uit om moed, transformatie en de schoonheid van hun innerlijke landschappen te omarmen.
