Alexander Lufer is een ervaren schilder gevestigd in Duitsland wiens werk internationaal te zien is geweest in solo- en groepstentoonstellingen. Met een achtergrond in architectuur ontwikkelde Lufer zijn artistieke praktijk geïnspireerd door de Nederlandse Vanitas en kunstenaars als Jeff Koons. Werkend in olieverf op doek verkent hij thema's van technologie en de spanning tussen traditie en moderniteit door middel van veranderde landschappen en onverwachte stillevens.
