Alfredo Yache, schilder en fotograaf, navigeert al meer dan vijfendertig jaar tussen deze twee media. Zijn werken beginnen met een fotografisch gebaar dat hij systematisch verandert ten gunste van het penseel, waardoor zijn gefragmenteerde blik holistisch wordt en het beeldmateriaal een menselijke lading krijgt. Het onthult de bijna kosmische sensualiteit van de plantkunde, waarbij zelfs de kleinste schaduw of reflectie van licht centraal kan staan.
