Anne Wölk is een in Berlijn gevestigde schilder wiens werk de snijvlakken van astronomie, speculatieve fictie en hedendaagse landschapsschilderkunst verkent. Met sfeervolle kleuren en precieze belichting ontwikkelt ze visionaire topografieën die de grens tussen realisme en verbeelding overschrijden. Ze had internationale solotentoonstellingen in het CICA Museum (Zuid-Korea) en het Casa da Cultura Ericeira Museum (Portugal). In 2025 was haar werk te zien in de Herbstsalon van de Kunstverein Erlangen in het Kunstpalais en in de Retrospectiva van Casa da Cultura Ericeira in 2024. Haar werk zal in 2025 worden gepubliceerd in nummer 9 van het tijdschrift Artsin Square, samengesteld door Galerie Droste. Wölks schilderijen komen voort uit de dialoog tussen wetenschappelijke nieuwsgierigheid en de zoektocht naar denkbeeldige habitats buiten het bekende.
