Athanasia-Iris Giaxidis, een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar, weeft Oost-Indische inkt, acryl en sculpturale elementen in haar verkenning van filosofische en mythologische landschappen. Haar werk duikt met een abstract oog in conventies en creëert archetypische, maar toch eigentijdse expressies via een robuust conceptueel raamwerk. Haar kunst, beladen met skeletachtige vormen en stil geschreeuw, worstelt met het idee van vrije wil en dringt aan op een terugkeer naar het authentieke bestaan. Haar stukken resoneren met de urgentie om de illusies van het moderne leven te overstijgen, op zoek naar spirituele bevrijding en echte menselijke verbinding.
