Beáta Kovács is een bekroonde kunstenaar gevestigd in Nederland wiens schilderijen zijn tentoongesteld in Servië, Hongarije, Roemenië en Spanje. Door vragen rond de natuur, menselijke representatie en de relatie tussen beide te onderzoeken, brengen haar werken ook het belang van de natuur en geestelijke gezondheid over door de lens van het figuratieve. Kovács gebruikt haar eigen lichaam als model voor referentiebeelden en probeert betekenis te verwerken via het filter van absurditeit.
