Charlotte Franchisey is werkzaam in de schilderkunst, tekenkunst en beeldhouwkunst en put daarbij uit een gedegen artistieke achtergrond die ze in Parijs heeft opgebouwd. Ze combineert klassieke en moderne materialen – brons, marmer, plexiglas, acrylverf, inkt, aquarelverf – en vervaagt de grenzen tussen stijlen, tussen subtiele details en spontane gebaren geïnspireerd door India en Japan, zoals te zien is in haar serie over lotusbloemen waarvan de zaden duizend jaar overleven. Creatief en nieuwsgierig, creëert ze in haar werk een vrije dialoog tussen erfgoed en innovatie, waarbij ze een oprechte levensvreugde, een bruisende energie en een diepe menselijkheid overbrengt en een sterke en directe verbinding met de kijker tot stand brengt. Charlotte Franchisey heeft talloze monumentale sculpturen gemaakt die in Frankrijk zijn geplaatst.
