Dorota Kwiatkowska is een in Polen gevestigde kunstenares wiens schilderijen in het hele land te zien zijn geweest. Ze schildert mensen meestal op basis van eerdere schetsen (gemaakt op een computer, tablet of papier). Haar werk beperkt zich niet tot het motief van vrouwen en mannen – ze maakt series kunstwerken om een verhaal te vertellen. Op een geometrische manier probeert ze het te 'vertellen'. Sinds haar schooltijd (ze is opgeleid als interieurontwerper) is ze blijven ontwerpen. Door stijlen te mixen, kan ze nieuwe aspecten van kunst blijven verkennen en ontdekken. Ze schildert ook graag draperieën, licht en schaduw, omdat ze een abstract element aan haar werk toevoegen. Deze geometrische textielsoorten zijn niet altijd meteen zichtbaar.
