Tsjechisch schilder en boekillustrator. Ivanovs kunstwerken zijn gebaseerd op dromen en het onderbewustzijn. Ivanovs beeldtaal is doordrenkt van surrealistische poëzie. Naast zijn olieverfschilderijen heeft Eugene Ivanov meer dan 200 boeken geïllustreerd. Hij heeft talloze solotentoonstellingen gehad en zijn werk wordt internationaal verzameld. In zijn kunst combineert de kunstenaar elementen van het landschapsrealisme, motieven van tuinen en achterstraten in de Praagse Oude Stad, of het klassieke stilleven met moderne stijlen van het begin van de 20e eeuw – kubisme, suprematisme en expressionisme.
