Giovanni Maria Sacco, fotograaf en voormalig universitair docent, is beïnvloed door het magisch realisme en de metafysische school van De Chirico. Zijn stijl, die hij omschrijft als poëtisch en elegant, speelt met de afwezigheid van tijd in de beelden door middel van weglatingen.
