Konrad Zając behaalde drie masterdiploma's: in computerwetenschappen (Technische Universiteit van West-Pommeren), grafisch ontwerp (Kunstacademie in Szczecin) en posterkunst (Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Warschau). Geïnspireerd door de visuele impact van informatiesystemen stapte hij over van techniek naar grafisch ontwerp, waarbij hij cinematografie, typografie en posterkunst combineerde onder leiding van mentoren als prof. Lex Drewiński, prof. Michał Kacperczyk en dr. Marcin Władyka – sleutelfiguren in de legendarische Poolse School voor Posters.
Geworteld in de rijke Poolse artistieke traditie combineert zijn werk schilderkunst, cinematografie en storytelling, vaak een weerspiegeling van de Poolse cultuur. Zijn posters, die wereldwijd tentoongesteld zijn (onder andere in Slowakije, Turkije, Zuid-Korea en de VS), zetten de Poolse nalatenschap als koploper in de posterkunst voort. Zającs praktijk omvat tekenen, schilderen en animatie, maar hij staat vooral bekend om zijn innovatieve, internationaal erkende posters.
