Margarita Lypiridou is een gevestigde Canadese schilder met internationale bekendheid. Of het nu gaat om het schilderen van figuren of landschappen, haar doel is om een aanwezigheid te articuleren, om een verhalende ruimte te creëren die de verkenning van beweging en ritme mogelijk maakt. Lypiridou's schilderijen verbeelden de kortstondige, vloeiende en vluchtige aard van het leven met gemengde lijnen en dichte kleuren.
