Max Vityk, geboren in 1964 in Lviv, Oekraïne, is een Oekraïens-Amerikaanse kunstenaar die momenteel in Caïro, Egypte woont. Hij behaalde aanvankelijk een doctoraat in de geologie en onderzoekt nu zowel figuratieve als abstracte kunst, geïnspireerd door zijn geologische kennis.
