Phillip Roös, met een doctoraat in architectuur en een opleiding in schilderen en tekenen, verweeft zijn diepgaande kennis van natuurlijke vormen en biofilie in schilderijen, tekeningen en sculpturen. Zijn stijl combineert primaire, expressieve penseelstreken met aardse kleurenpaletten en tactiele oppervlakken, waarbij abstractie en landschap samensmelten en hij soms wilde dieren in bijna realistische weergaven portretteert.
